West Fest National Day of the Cowboy Topeka KS

Calling all cowboys at heart! National Day of the Cowboy is fun for children 10 years old and younger.
Museum Admission: $10 adults, $9 special, $5 children (2 – 17)
*Special – Seniors 65+, active military, college students with ID
Activities with purchase of museum admission or free to Kansas Historical Foundation members!
- Explore new museum exhibits
- Climb inside the full-sized covered wagon. Great photo op!
- Gallop through the gallery on stick ponies
- Play cowboy bingo
- Enjoy one stagecoach ride
Many free activities!
- Pet miniature horses and a mustang
- Join in campfire sing-a-long
- Practice roping
- Pan for gold
- Make a bedazzled horseshoe
- Learn to track animals
- Play fun historic games
- Get your face painted
- Watch an exciting vintage baseball game
Mahaffie Stage Stop and Farm stage coach rides also available for $3 per ride.
11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Free hot dogs and chips while supplies last.
Kettle corn and old-fashioned ice cream for sale all day.
