Tucson Arizona National Day of the Cowboy Borderlands Brewing Company

July 26, 2014 @ 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm

119 E Toole Avenue, Tucson Arizona – July 26th, 2014
Ranchers and authors, Alan Day and Richard Collins, are the featured cowboys at this inaugural NDOC event. Alan and Richard will each provide a 15 minute presentation about their respective books that will include slides and video. We’re going to have radio personality, Matt Russell, who hosts a weekly show that airs in Tucson called On the Menu Live. He’ll be interviewing Alan and Richard about cowboy cuisine from 4-5 pm. Matt will then do a cowboy/western themed trivia contest. A food truck will be parked outside the venue and will be serving tacos and beans. A fusion acoustic folk band will begin playing at 7 pm. The brewery has agreed to brew a small batch of special beer for the event. From 5 -7 pm.
Note from the National Day of the Cowboy – I’ve recently read “The Horse Lover,” co-authored by Alan Day and Lynn Wiese Sneyd. By the time I finished the first chapter, I was already recommending this book to everyone I met. So, if you can, read it before you attend, but if not, I encourage you to try to be there to meet the authors and hear what they have to say. This event is also a fundraiser for the National Day of the Cowboy nonprofit.
