SID HAUSMAN is a singer songwriter of cowboy tales and western lore that reflect his experience with ranching, the influence of American Indian and Hispanic cultures, and the rural environment of the American West. Dubbed “a great storyteller” (Don Edwards) and one of the “most heard contemporary western artists…” (Western Music Association), he tours nationally and has performed four times at the Edinburgh International Folk Festival in Scotland. With an early performing bluegrass background, Sid is a strong and varied instrumentalist including banjo, Dobro, guitar, ukulele, harmonica and bones and a two time finalist in the category of Western Music Swing Album of the Year for his CDs Blue Horizon and Colorado Belle.
