Moose Lake Christian Craft Village invites you to experience the old west with the sights, sounds and flavors of the National Day of the Cowboy!
July 28, 2018 10:00AM – 4:00PM
Join us as we celebrate the 14th National Day of the Cowboy and cowboy heritage in Indiana; we relive the old west with cowboys, cowgirls, horses and bucking bulls. At 1:00 PM see Soarin’ Hawks presentation of their birds of prey and Jefferson the bald eagle! There will be cowboy music & entertainment on the village stage, many local artisans will be there with their handmade items along with our chainsaw carvers displaying their unique talents. Once again, you can enjoy a wagon ride through the newly designed Moose Lake woods. There are many new attractions so don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy a historic wagon ride and searching for those new attractions.
For the buckaroos, there will also be activities in the brand-new Children’s Activity Center, special crafts and games, stick horse races, horse rides, of course the Moose Trax Train will be running and playing in the “newly expanded” children’s playground. If we are lucky, we may also have a visit from “Moses the Moose” our newest member of the village.
Mackey’s General Store, where we have the region’s largest selection of Amish jellys, jams, jar goods, meats, cheeses and unique gifts and “Café Moose”, voted one of the top four dining experiences in the region, will also be open.
Or you may just want to leisurely walk around the village and enjoy the flavor of the Old West, the new renovations to the village itself and the new location for the Church in the Wildwood. And don’t forget to wear your western duds!
