Lionheart Resorts National Day of the Cowboy

In 2005, Mitch and Bob Toney from The Tom Mix Rangers of Virginia gathered their cowboy regalia and horses and traveled to Pennsylvania participating in one of the very first Cowboy Day celebrations. Mitch Toney loved the idea of a special day dedicated to our western heritage so much that in 2009, with the help of The Historic Village and Buckingham Chamber of Commerce, the first ‘National Day of the Cowboy’ celebration was brought to Buckingham,Virginia.

Family Ticket package for Saturday and Sunday: Two adults and 2 minors under 18 – $50 + free camp site to the first 500 to register.
Children under 12 free during entire event
