Academy of Western Artists 24th Annual Will Rogers Awards.

The 24th AWA Awards will be held August 13, 2020 in Ft. Worth in the ballroom of the Radisson Fossil Creek Hotel. Ticket information will be forthcoming next week, but with size and crowd limitations, we will be taking those on a first come basis. All of those with tickets are assured they will be honored. The Radisson has a much larger ballroom so we can have adequate spacing between tables. We are sorry for the inconvenience, but this has been a very difficult time for everyone. If you have any questions let me know, but we are back on track and the event should be bigger and better than ever…
The categories include Young Artist of the Year, Pure Country, Western Swing, Western Music and they will all have awards for Male, Female, Duo/Group, Album and Song. There is also a category for Instrumentalist of the Year. Host for this year’s event is Penny Gilley, host of “The Penny Gilley Show” which is taped at Lil Red’s Longhorn Saloon in the historic Stockyards in Fort Worth, Texas. “The Penny Gilley Show” airs on RFD-TV.
