OUTLAWS, REBELS & ROGUES!

January 17, 2013 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

A historical concert; a sweeping tapestry of life and times 150 years ago with topical threads that remain relevant today.  Beautifully performed by seasoned folk artists, Curtis & Loretta who have shared the stage with folk music  legends Pete Seeger, Judy Collins and Arlo Guthrie. The National Public Radio performers blend amazing vocals and harmonies with accomplished instrumentation to tell the story of the West!

The show list is made up entirely of songs that American cowboys, pioneers, and settlers sang during the mid to late 19th century.  Between songs, Curtis & Loretta’s engaging stage presence shines through with stories and  commentary on the history of the songs and their importance to understanding the cultures of the time.
Performed with vintage stringed instruments including banjo, celeste (an antique keyboard),
harp,mandocello,harmonica,  guitar.
