National Day of the Cowboy is July 28 at the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame & Museum from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The celebration is free.
Local partners include the outdoor musical TEXAS; Working Ranch Cowboy Association and the Amarillo Convention & Visitor Council.
