Cancelled – Genoa Western Heritage Days – Genoa, Nevada

Founded in 1851, the Town of Genoa is the oldest settlement in Nevada. Genoa Western Heritage Days is a celebration of that culture and our community. We invite all to come out to our picturesque town and celebrate the Spirit of the West. Genoa Western Heritage Days will host ticketed concerts in the Genoa Town Hall on Friday, April 24th and Saturday, April 25th, featuring some of the best Western talent from all over the United States. Concerts begin at 7 PM with doors opening at 6 PM. Kick off the weekend with a Friday concert featuring Dave Stamey & The High Country
Saturday, April 25, from 10 AM to 5 PM, attendees can amble through Genoa for Native American demonstrations, Western music, Cowboy poetry, Chautauqua actors portraying historic characters, children’s activities, Dutch oven cooking, Ag in the Classroom with the Douglas County Farm Bureau, historic tours and much more. Daytime events and performances are free and family friendly.
