Join the Flint Hills Discovery Center for National Day of the Cowboy, an annual celebration of the national icon and the history and culture of the American West!
Wrangle up the family for a day filled with activities embracing the Wild West. Meet Rodeo Queens, dress up like a cowboy, and take a western style photo. Receive a bandana courtesy of Wrangler and Vanderbilt’s while supplies last and make your own take-home branded block with our NEW custom bison logo. Hitch a carriage ride until 1 p.m. Kids can make a bola tie and a paper plate snake.
You’ll have the chance to brush up on your skills of:

- Bison Chip Tossing
