Dubois Wyoming Annual National Day of the Cowboy

Rodeo 7 p.m.
Saturday July 28
Parade 10 a.m. – Horses, mules, wagons, ranch critters, cowboys and cowgirls will provide colorful and photogenic entertainment as the kick off to the 2012 Dubois National Day of the Cowboy celebration. Wells Fargo’s famous horse-drawn stagecoach will feature, riding shotgun, Grand Marshal Susan Thomas, wife of the late US Senator from Wyoming, Craig Thomas. Susan is a champion of the resolution honoring  cowboy and western heritage. She is also a recipient of a 2012 Cowboy Keeper Award.

SASS Shoot Noon
Concert 2 p.m.- Pinedale, Wyoming  singer/songwriter Jared Rogerson will be our featured musical performer on Saturday July 28, at the Corner Park (next to the Rustic Pine Tavern). Concert begins at 2 PM and it’s FREE!
Shoot Out 4 p.m.
Westernaires Performance 7 p.m.- Westernaires’ is a mounted precision drill organization composed of youth from 9 to 19 years of age. They have provided training in western riding, precision drills, and horse care for over 60 years. The group will perform in our Cowboy Parade and will be featured in an equine performance Saturday evening at the Clarence Allison Memorial Rodeo Arena beginning at 7 p.m. Tickets are $5 and available at Waterwheel Gifts & Books, Central Booking, Stagecoach Motel, Dubois Wind River KOA and at the ‘gate’ the evening of the event. Winners of a 2011 Cowboy Keeper Award.
Sunday July 29
Auction 11 a.m.
Concert 6 p.m.- with Jan Marrou 6:00 pm. at the Rustic Pine. Tickets $10
