Grapevine’s Palace Theatre celebrates National Day of the Cowboy with “The Legends of Country Music Tribute” by Johnny Rogers, Saturday, July 26, at 7:30 p.m. Considered one of the best tribute artists in the business, Johnny channels country and rock n’ roll idols including Buddy Holly, Hank Williams, Elvis and more. Johnny is not only a successful tribute artist, but he branches out into the original songwriter artist field. As a testament to his ability as a performer, Johnny has performed with some of the biggest names in the business, in front of four U.S. presidents and often shares the stage with guitar legend Tommy Allsup, the Grammy Award winner who played with Buddy Holly.

The 10th Annual National Day of the Cowboy is July 26, 2014. The mission of the National Day of the Cowboy nonprofit organization is to contribute to the preservation of America’s Cowboy heritage so that the history and culture which the United States Congress’s National Day of the Cowboy resolution honors, can be shared and perpetuated for the public good, through education, the arts, celebrations, gatherings, rodeos, and community activities.
